Friday night we did our 1st All Youth Lock In @ The Rock. It was awesome. There were nearly 70 people there which is pretty amazing considering it was our first event. There was Ping Pong, Foosball, Pool Noodle Battles, Dodgeball, Midnight Capture The Flag, Baseball Batting Cages, Baseball Bowling, a Pinata, some worship with PJ and Amanada, a short messages and a presentation of the gospel from Pastor Adam, Madagascar and Madagascar 2, Tons of food, Midnight snacks, 2 birthdays, way to much candy, Blob tag and much much more.

Pastor Adam and I would like to take a second and announce that we are going to do one of these events once a quarter pulling all the youth together so keep an eye on our church calendar here on the website for more details about Lock In’s @ The Rock!

Here is the video from last night.

Getting ready to leave for Winter Camp 2010

Friday, March 5th, 2010

It’s about 5am and I’m just finishing up checking everything for camp. Stay tuned here to our new blog during camp for update from our on the spit reporter. We hope (wifi access willing) to be able this year to upload stories and pictures and even videos from camp.

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. We have an amazing facility for camp at Woodleaf Camp, this place is truly unreal. I would rate it as the best youth camp spot I’ve ever been to that is priced affordable. We’ve been blessed with year with 20 Jr. Highers in our group so there will be lots of great stories.

I would encourage you as you have time this weekend to pray for our safety, our time with the Lord, our fun, and the fellowship and friendships between our youth.

God bless…
